Directions on how to configure your clients to use LW.Org Mail services.

The accounts can be autoconfigured on Outlook, Thunderbird and other clients supporting autodiscovery protocols processes, or Apple Devices can be configured using this tool.

Below are configurations for SMTP, IMAP and POP3, username is user@lightwitch.org for any service.

SMTP - Outgoing

  • Server: aria-net.site
  • Port: 465
  • SSL: Yes

IMAP - Incoming

  • Server: aria-net.site
  • Port: 993
  • SSL: Yes

POP3 - Incoming (legacy unsuggested)

  • Server: aria-net.site
  • Port: 995
  • SSL: Yes

Beside the conventional methods, if you use Microsoft Outlook the server allows you to connect via the MailEnable MAPI plugin which you can download here. For others settings like CalDAV, CardDAV, ICS Publishing, SyncML or WebDAV please login to the Webmail and navigate to “Options” > “General” > “Client Settings”.

Our mail services have tight Anti-Spam features (like our IM implementation) and Greylisting enabled, in case you should experience delays on receiving mails you can accordingly setup whitelisting to avoid filtering processing by logining to our webmail here, and looking at the relevant settings into “Options” > “Spam”, it's also possible to blacklist domains / addresses or set up advanced custom filtering.
